|
| Review Date: July 13, 2009 |
| Reviewer: Ryall Mack Cowling, Adelaide, Australia |
I played this on a 15" 2009 Macbookpro running OSX 10.5.7
Outstanding historical strategy - it gets no better than this.
Works well with latest macs, few issues.
Pros:
Great Music and graphics.
Incredible attention to detail in research and buildings.
Several ways to win, Multiplayer modes, expansion pack included in one disc.
No serial number required.
Cons:
Some graphical glitches. (world leaders faces transparent)
Disc required in drive for play. Disc images/Backups don't work. |
Can't get my son off this game

| Bought this for my 13 year old son. He plays it all the time, maybe too much. However, he IS also learning leadership styles and names of famous landmarks. The game is a great educational tool to teach basic economics, warfare strategy. |

| I have played all the Civ games over the years. This one is the latest and greatest in the games' evolution. All aspects of the game have been upgraded. I recommend this highly addictive game to anyone who enjoys turn-based strategy games. |
